I
joined Slimmersedge just before Christmas 2008, a mid-life
crisis move (along with the sports car!!) in a desperate attempt
to stave off the impending gravity pull of my 60th
birthday in a couple of months time. Seriously though, it has
been a great experience. David and Adele are inspirational,
helpful and cheerful and it’s just like having one’s own
personal trainer for every visit. Christmas and New Year put a
dent in my routine, but I have to say that I’ve noticed a
definite improvement in the dreaded, dimply cellulite and that
my whole body has toned up and looks years younger. I have
tried larger, flashier gyms in the past but found them
impersonal and unhelpful; coming here is welcoming and results
driven, individual attention is the norm and a friendly
atmosphere prevails.
Can’t wait to see the improvement in my body after another few
months!!!

56 it’s very hard to lose weight that’s why I am so happy with
loosing 3 Kg's and 6 cm around my hips after just 9 days!! It was

When I joined Slimmersedge
David and Adele were aware that I was gearing up for pregnancy
(i.e. losing weight) and were always helpful and understanding.
2 or so months into my membership I overheard David or Adele
saying something about Ampuku massage and its success rate for
increasing fertility.
My first pregnancy 3 years ago took a while to
eventuate so I promptly booked myself an appointment with David
and was treated to a relaxing hour long ampuku massage. I found
the whole experience fascinating, especially when David told me
I had 'brittle' ovaries (!) and that the massage combined with
the heat would bring back the blood flow into that area. This
seemed quite logical to me and when I fell pregnant on my next
cycle following the massage I was convinced it was because of
the ampuku!!
I am now 5 months pregnant and all's going well.

Since I was
a child I have always had problems with my digestive system &
had a
bloated tummy, I felt fat & uncomfortable. Since I have
introduced the
SlimmersEdge
foods into my diet I am now proud of my
abdominal tone with no discomfort or swelling.
The rotation of
cardio, vibration training & calisthenics (Tummy exercises) has
been awesome.

found going to the gym was really boring for me. I did not li ke
the routines and the constant reps you had to do, there was no
fun in it.
Constant carrying luggage to the gym and then work...awwgh!!! that
was painful.

session at the gym. I decided to give it a go, it
felt weird for a

Who
would have thought that a 10 day challenge would be a life
changing event for
me, I thought I would do the 10 days and that would be it, but
no, the food is so good for you and so delicious that I will eat
if for the rest of my life.
I have learnt a lot in ten days, how to cook,
what foods I thought
were good for me that really aren’t, how to balance my meals
out, and that light exercise makes
all the difference.

I have limited time to
train so I have found the
SlimmersEdge
system of training highly
effective for me.
To be able to tone my muscles and energize myself in

I
came out of hospital in October
'07 full of fluids which left me bell shaped.
My sister recommended that I go to
SlimmersEdge
with the vibrating
machine & it would help to get rid of the fluid.
I
signed up for three months not believing that it would do
anything but willing to give it a try as I looked horrible.
When I first came out of hospital I was so weak that I could
only do 2 push ups, after spending 2 months 3 times a week 15
minutes per day I was sitting in front of the TV and was feeling
pretty good & thought I would try some push ups expecting to be
able to do about 10.
I did 20. I was amazed.
So
I thought I would try it again the next night to see if I could
repeat it and did 27. I was
stunned.
I am 68 years old and have never
exercised to any extent a month later I tried again and did 37.
This is now my 4th month after a 3 week break at Christmas and I
have started to go 5 times per week. I am certain that I can do
over 40 now but haven't tried. I also noticed that my back pain
has gone, and that the arthritis that was starting to make
itself felt in my two wrists from an old break has almost gone.
But the most amazing thing is that I can do sit ups till I get
bored. I have never been able to do sit ups. I don't exercise, I
join jims periodically. I just cancelled my gym membership at a
gym that I have been paying the fees for the last five years and
have not set foot in the place once.
Exercise
for me is an everyday occurrence. It is my job.
Practicing & teaching
martial arts is demanding.
The vibration machine helps
my recovery time and enhances my stretching and core strength
routines.
Short but effective sessions mean I can get on with my
day.

about their health. Having good energy reserves & not

Slimmersedge was the Best Thing that ever happened to me!
Never liked gym, never looked forward to going to the gym....but
Slimmersedge has totally changed my perception and my lifestyle.
I enjoy my work-outs, get the best training from Adele and
David, eat food that are not only healthy they taste good too
and most importantly I can see results in me.
Being motivated and focused in the 10day Challenge I have lost
nearly 3kg's..........WICKED!!
Results are unbelievable unless and until you do it and see it

Hi, just wanted to add my comments regarding the 10 day
challenge at Slimmer’s Edge.
I found the information about the food really easy to follow and
when I made the effort to follow the recipes they were
delicious.
The exercises both on and off the machines are easy to manage
even for an old 53 year old like me.
Thank you both for being so patient and attentive. I never find
it a chore to go to the gym and I am really pleased to admit I
actually enjoy it.
I like the holistic approach you take to the whole of life and
the part food and exercises plays in it. I learn something new
every time I attend.

I went off the
contraceptive pill in July 2005, wanting to give my body time
for normality before trying for a baby. Months passed and I had
no periods, so I consulted a fertility
clinic which had a long waiting list.
In July 2006 I was diagnosed with Poly-cystic Ovaries,
which meant it would be a lot harder to conceive with this
condition, because of my very infrequent periods. Not long
after David from
SlimmersEdge
mentioned a
form of massage, called Ampuku, which he
could perform on the stomach and ovarian region of my body.
He said it would regulate my cycle.
I jumped at the chance & sure enough the following month I began
to get regular periods. We now have a
beautiful & perfect baby boy, Luca, who I believe we
